Brentwood Writers’ Circle Room 101 Competition
Closing date is 30 April 2018
Entrants should write a case for something they hate, to be consigned to
Room 101 and do so in exactly 101 words; (you can add a title outside of that
limit). What you choose is up to you - just persuade us that it's the number
one candidate to consign to oblivion! There is an appropriate £101.00 in prize
money (£51.00 for the entry placed first, £30.00 for second and £20.00 for
third).

Entries can also be sent by post to: The Secretary, Brentwood Writers' Circle,
1 Delta Road, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 ING.
Entrants should provide their full postal address/telephone number as well as
their email address below their text, which should be clearly presented (ideally
in 14 point type Times New Roman).
The entry fee is £3.00 per story, which can be paid by a cheque made out
to Brentwood Writers’ Circle and sent to the above address or by PayPal below.
As a condition of entry, the organisers will assume permission to reprint the
winning stories in the media (for example the local and county press).
